EWGA - Southern New Hampshire Chapter - 2008 Event Results
Hidden Creek in Litchfield, NH was the setting for our first golfing event of 2008! On Saturday, April 19, 22 players participated in the event which brought out many new members. The weather cooperated, providing us with warm weather and sunny skies. After the nine holes, we all relaxed in the clubhouse for lunch and to catch up with friends that we had not seen over the long winter. Recipients of prizes were:- Closest-to-the-pin went to Jan Boutilier, on hole number seven, at 11 feet 8 inches. She received a $20 Golf & Ski gift certificate and, of course, bragging rights!
- Low gross and least number of putts - John Flanagan with a score of 43 and only 15 putts, and Sandy Joyce with a score of 45 and only 16 putts. A good day for the two of them for the start of the season! They each received $15 Golf & Ski gift certificates.
We also picked a number out of a hat and the cards that had the most of the number resulted in the following winners: Mary Ann Dempsey, Jayne Morin, Barb Brian, and Diane Tessier each received $10 Golf & Ski gift certificates or EWGA shoe bags and a sleeve of balls. Deirdre Rogusky, President of the Southern NH Chapter of EWGA golfed at the event and gave an informative update on EWGA after.
